Shoreditch prepares for landmark business event
Shoreditch prepares for landmark business event
A conference and exhibition aimed at the UK’s most ambitious and fastest-growing businesses is coming to Shoreditch in 2014.

The Elite Business National Conference and Exhibition will be held over two days from 10–11 April at The Old Truman Brewery, and is expected to attract 15,000 attendees. The event will encompass a series of seminars, workshops and presentations from some of the UK's most successful entrepreneurs. Confirmed speakers include Karren Brady, Michelle Mone and Michael Portillo, whilst Companies House, the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and BT Business are amongst the organisations exhibiting at the event.

The company behind the Elite Business National Conference and Exhibition – CE Media – is the publisher of national print and digital title Elite Business Magazine, which is dedicated to entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The publication was established in 2011 and currently has 32,000 subscribers, with the digital version of the magazine distributed to a further 800,000 SMEs via a network of online partners.

Scott English, managing director of CE Media, commented: “Thanks to the insight and invaluable feedback from our readers, we recognise that now is the right time to cater for the needs of our stellar high-growth businesses and exceptional entrepreneurs. The Elite Business National Conference and Exhibition represents a fantastic platform for this to be achieved.”

According to the Business Growth Fund (BGF) Growth Companies Barometer, the population of UK companies with a turnover of between £2.5m and £100m has consistently been around 23,000 to 25,000. It is the owners and directors of these firms that are expected to attend The Elite Business National Conference and Exhibition to learn from top business leaders and connect with companies that offer products and services to support their growth and expansion.

Free tickets are available to all relevant business owners and directors to attend the trade exhibition, seminars and workshops. Tickets for the conference are on sale later this month. For more information, please visit |
