NEIS is funded by Department of Education, Skills and Employment. This initiative helps you become self-sufficient and independent by establishing a new small business.Approved applicants will receive training in small business management, business skills and assistance to develop your business plan. A NEIS allowance and rental assistance can be provided by the Federal government to eligible applicants.What NEIS providesAustralian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) Accredited training in Certificate IV in New Small Business or Certificate III in Micro Business Operations so you can establish and run your own small businessMentor advice and support for 12 monthsIncome support for up to 39 weeks (NEIS Allowance) (if eligible)Rental assistance for a period of up to 26 weeks (if eligible)
